Haven't posted in a long long time, but have a little bragging to do so I am back.

My #3 son is 16 years old and a junior in high school.
When he started the 9th grade he was extremely obese and decided he wanted to play football. He joined the football team and began working out everyday at the gym. Well, he lost almost 100 lbs.

He then got envolved in powerlifting and eventually put alot of the weight back on. This time the weight was muscle instead of fat.

Today was his first meet.

He practically sweeped the event.
He won his bracket hands down and got a first place medal.
He was the best squatter for the WHOLE event, squatting 675 pounds. He got a special plaque.
He was the best bench presser for the WHOLE event, benching 405 pounds. He got another plaque.
He tied for the most weight lifted in the event, with 1580 total pounds.

Only one other person in the state is ahead of him right now, with 1620 pounds.

WOOT!! WOOT!! WOOT!!

We have another meet soon and then qualifications for regionals.
